Founded in the 13th Century, Lancaster Royal Grammar School, Lancashire is one of the oldest maintained â€“ and one of the top state schools - in the country.
As part of a modernisation programme for the entire school site, new dormitory and common room/communal facilities have been included the installation of new shower facilities at two school buildings - Gardener House (now called School House) and Frankland House.

With Kent being very hard water area, scale build up in Council Office WC and washing facility mechanisms, meant increased leakage and waster wastage, despite regular and costly maintenance.
Urgent action was required.
